​My name is Ashley, and I have been working in the pet care industry since 2005. I have managed boarding facilities in both Arizona and Colorado and it's my passion to make sure pets have great experiences when their owners are away. I live in Loveland with my husband Dayne, his two awesome boys, my nine year old son and two Australian Shepherds.  Everyone here loves dogs!

I chose Covalent for my business and kennel name because of the chemical bond characterized by the sharing of electrons.  My dogs and I share so much in everything we do, and I feel that it is such an integral part of owning and loving pets.

I utilize Gentle Handling Methods taught by Certified Behavior Consultant Ashley Foster in order to minimize stress on pets in my care.  This means I will use the least invasive handling methods to make sure your pet's needs are being met.  Some pets require a more hands off approach, and I'm able to offer that while still monitoring their well-being and working to build a trusting relationship.
